The Philips HTS3164 is a surround sound and HDMI 1080p upscaling home entertainment system. It allows playback from USB drives, portable media players, and supports many digital media types. It also features DTS,Dolby Digital and Pro Logic II.

The Philips HTS3164 is a Home Cinema System that features a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Link that allows playing media from USB flash drives. Its MP3 also enables playing music from portable media players. Also featured is HDMI 1080p, DTS , Dolby Digital and Pro Logic II surround sound. Number of preset audio channels on the FM tuner can be up to 40. It also uses 12-bit /108 MHz for video processing. The DivX Ultra Certified for playback of DivX videos.

The Philips HTS3164 can play WMV, DivX, WMA, MP3 and JPEG digital camera photos. It also plays CD, (S) VCD, DVD, DVD +R/RW, DVD-R/RW and DVD+R DL. The video disc playback system is NTSC and PAL. The MP3 bit rates are 32-256 kbps and VBR. With its EasyLink it controls connected devices via HDMI CEC. It comes equipped with Easy-fit connecters for color coding for setup.
